Vibration Analysis
This service package includes a site visit, a dedicated database will be created relative to the Steam Turbine and any other drive components i.e. gearboxes, power turbines, alternators etc.
A comprehensive baseline of the drive train would then be conducted and casing vibration data relative to both RMS Velocity and Peak Acceleration is collected and referenced against a known load.
This package includes displacement element analysis i.e. (rotor to bearing movement). By interfacing with any X & Y probes a comprehensive phase analysis inclusive of XY Orbit monitoring is conducted. This extra analysis allows the rotor to bearing movement to be recorded and analysed. If there are any run up concerns, then run up and run down data will also be collected (if the opportunity is made available). This data is very effective in diagnosing the natural frequencies that may be the cause of an undesirable vibration. We use this package to conduct a detailed troubleshoot of problematic machinery.
