SOLUTION:
To use a new sealing method and a new shape of landing bar.
EXECUTION:
C22 Hastelloy successfully tested for the new shape.
The use of C22 Hastelloy has been reduced to approx. 35% thereby reducing the cost of manufacture.
To maintain strength, stainless steel material has been used outside the gas contact areas, to support the C22 Hastelloy.
